Beginning his journey at Corporate Executive Board as a junior Consultant immediately after completing business school, Mr. Alian swiftly rose through the ranks to serve on the executive teams of Fortune 50 companies. Notably, he contributed to advising Microsoft in 2004 on their share buyback program and the implementation of a one-time dividend program. Additionally, he provided strategic counsel to TD Bank during their acquisition of Ameritrade in 2006.
Subsequently, Mr. Alian transitioned to Allstate Insurance, where he led the financial planning and strategy team, overseeing a substantial $6 billion balance sheet and operations across five states. His tenure culminated in significant contributions to the company's financial growth and stability. Continuing his journey in corporate America, Mr. Alian joined Northrop Grumman, where he played an integral role in the M&A team, managing international acquisitions and expansions. He also oversaw strategic presentations to the Board of Directors, further solidifying his reputation as a trusted advisor and strategic thinker.
In 2011, Mr. Alian ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing Synergy Consultants & CPAs, a renowned national CPA and consulting firm. Concurrently, he co-founded Invesology Inc, a national asset and wealth management firm, further showcasing his prowess in financial management and advisory services.
Expanding his entrepreneurial endeavors, Mr. Alian spearheaded Miami Vice Capital, a private equity firm specializing in healthcare startups and medical technology ventures. Additionally, he launched WaterFall Partners, a distinguished M&A and investment banking firm, rounding out his impressive portfolio of ventures in the finance and consulting sectors.
Mr. Alian holds an MBA degree. Additionally, he is a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst).
